LANDR Neon — Crystalline Digital Keys with Modern Polish

Neon turns simple MIDI parts into polished digital keys with iconic 80s character and wide, moving textures. It combines FM and wavetable-style sounds and is designed to deliver production-ready results in seconds.

Three Engines

Two main instrument sources are joined by a dedicated Miniwave module, a third layer that acts as an evolving background texture and morphs over time so arrangements never feel static. Each layer has its own gain, ADSR envelope, octave shift and fine pitch control.

Saturation and Effects

Four saturation types, Vinyl, Digit, Bitcrush and Tape, add the crackle of a worn record, the crunch of an early 8-bit sampler or the hiss of a tape machine. Dimension adds lush 80s-style chorus and width, Amp brings harmonics that cut through the mix, and the Space engine analyses your audio in real time to suggest the right reverb depth and size.

Fast Workflow

Dedicated randomizer buttons for sounds and effects generate new ideas instantly, and a curated library of presets gives you musical starting points for any genre.

System Requirements

The plugin runs on macOS 10.15 and newer (VST3, AU and AAX, native on Apple Silicon) and on Windows 10 and newer (VST3 and AAX), 64-bit only. It needs at least 4 GB of memory and about 120 MB of disk space. After purchase, the plugin is activated and installed through the LANDR app.
