Viscount Cantorum VI Deluxe Digitální varhany

Portable Liturgical Organ with Authentic Pipe-Organ Character

The Viscount Cantorum VI Deluxe is a portable liturgical organ engineered for musicians who need the sound and feel of a real pipe organ without the weight, footprint, or installation cost of a traditional instrument. Housed in a single-manual cabinet that measures just 98 × 13 × 36 cm and weighs 14.5 kg, this model brings organ sounds sampled from Viscount's Chorum range into a format that fits in a car boot and sets up in minutes. The Cantorum VI Deluxe is the right choice for church musicians, choir directors, and travelling organists who want a serious instrument that travels with them.

At the heart of the design sits a 61-key Tracker Touch keyboard, a touch-sensitive action that simulates the mechanical action of a real pipe organ. Combined with 192-note polyphony, the keyboard lets players sustain full chords, layered registrations, and rapid passages without notes dropping out, even in the most demanding Romantic and Symphonic repertoire.

What Sets the Cantorum VI Deluxe Apart

Four selectable organ styles — Baroque, North German Baroque, Romantic and Symphonic — each carry their own dedicated set of 21 stops, giving the player 84 organ voices in total sampled from Viscount's renowned Chorum range. The instrument also ships with 14 orchestral voices, including grand piano, strings, choir, harpsichord, harp, celesta, clarinet, oboe and trumpet, plus a programmable keyboard split that lets two distinct sections be played simultaneously from the same manual. A dedicated bass section with Principal 16', Octave 8' and Trombone 16' enables classic two-manual performances through the automatic pedal mode, ideal for liturgical accompaniment.

Sound Engine and Sampling — Chorum Organ Sounds

The sound engine is what gives this portable organ its character. Every stop is sampled from Viscount's Chorum range of classical organs, so each register carries the harmonic complexity and acoustic behaviour of a real pipe. Seven historical temperaments — including Werckmeister III, Kirnberger II, Silbermann and Pythagorean — let period repertoire be played with authentic tuning.

• Organ Voices: 84 stops across four styles — Baroque, North German Baroque, Romantic, Symphonic
• Orchestral Voices: 14 — piano, strings, choir, harpsichord, harp, celesta, clarinet, oboe, trumpet
• Polyphony: 192 notes — sustains full chords and dense registrations without note stealing

Keyboard and Playing Feel — Tracker Touch Action

The Tracker Touch keyboard is the single biggest contributor to the playing experience. It is designed to simulate the mechanical action of a real pipe organ. Touch sensitivity is layered on top, so orchestral voices respond dynamically in the same way a piano would.

• Keyboard: 61 keys, Tracker Touch, touch-sensitive — mechanical-action feel with dynamic response
• Keyboard Split: Programmable — two distinct sections playable simultaneously on one manual
• Bass Section: Principal 16', Octave 8', Trombone 16' — automatic pedal mode for two-manual repertoire

Connectivity, Amplification and Portability

The built-in 2 × 25 W stereo system with two 5" full-range speakers in a bass-reflex enclosure delivers up to 50 W, enough to fill a medium-sized chapel or rehearsal room without external speakers. For larger venues, headphones or an external PA can be connected. The full I/O panel covers MIDI IN/OUT, USB Host and USB Device, plus dedicated inputs for expression and sustain pedals, making it straightforward to integrate with other devices or recording systems.

• Amplification: 2 × 25 W, 2 × 5" full-range speakers (bass reflex), up to 50 W total — stereo output for medium-sized venues
• Connections: MIDI IN/OUT, USB Host, USB Device, expression pedal, sustain pedal
• Dimensions: 98 × 13 × 36 cm — Weight: 14.5 kg — single-manual portable cabinet

Who the Cantorum VI Deluxe Is For

The Cantorum VI Deluxe is the right choice for church musicians, choir directors, and travelling organists who need a serious instrument that travels with them. Its 14.5 kg weight and 98 cm width make it practical for organists who move between venues — a Sunday service in one chapel, a wedding in another, a rehearsal at home — without compromising on sound. The four organ styles and 84 stops cover the full range of Western organ repertoire from Bach to Widor, while the 14 orchestral voices add flexibility for congregational singing, continuo playing, and small-ensemble accompaniment. Built-in sequencer, transpose function, and a library of classical pieces round out the package for both hobbyists and working professionals.
