Without a doubt, the Blackstar HT-5RH MkII is a premium product in its class and beyond. This amplifier includes all the options and features that advanced users would like, and more than an amateur user would ever need. Compared to the MkI, it includes even more tonal options - four channels - that you can switch with included foot pedal. What I like the most compared to the MkI is the ability to reduce the output power from 5W to just 0.5W, which is great for not disturbing your neighbors and still enjoying the full sound and not being doomed to use headphones. I had concerns about the chicken-head shaped plastic-like regulators. Metal ones seem nicer. However, they offer a good overview of the settings and you get used to them quickly. Finally, the build quality and design are superb and gives you this special feeling of eternal beauty.
