Candy Slide Whistle Pop is a uniquely deep-sampled lollipop slide flute, crafted from premium sugar and high-fructose corn syrup. This instrument boasts a mellow, breathy character and a clear tone reminiscent of a Garklein recorder.

The flute is entirely made of candy, featuring an adjustable slide plunger within the stick. We captured the full chromatic range of the whistle, spanning 1.5 natural octaves (C6 - F#7), with the option to extend its playable range across the entire keyboard. The library includes 11 essential tuned chromatic articulations with sustains, shorts, and dynamic expressions, along with 100 melodic phrases and a variety of flute effects.

We recorded four different whistles in cherry and blueberry flavors, which unfortunately melted and dripped sugary goo all over the recording booth. While it was a bit of a messy endeavor, the library sounds fantastic! Just to clarify, purchasing this will provide you with virtual instrument software, not an actual food product. Soundiron instruments are not edible.
