Lava Music ME air Carbon White Elektroakustická kytara

Travel Guitar with Carbon-Fiber Construction and Built-In Effects

The ME air Carbon White is a 36" travel acoustic-electric guitar built around a Super AirSonic carbon top and AirSonic carbon back and sides, designed for players who need an instrument that survives temperature swings, humidity, and crowded overhead bins. At just 1.8 kg and measuring 91.85 × 32.75 × 8.45 cm, this model slips into a gig bag yet still delivers a full six-string playing experience with a 23.5" scale and an HPL fingerboard. This guitar is the right choice for traveling musicians, songwriters, and buskers who need an instrument that stays in tune across climates and adds effects without external gear.

What Sets the ME air Carbon Apart

Two innovations define this model. The FreeBoost Magnetic system makes reverb, delay and drive effects audible without plugging into an amp — useful for campfire sessions or street performance. The LAVA+ app lets players customize each of the five onboard effect chains, and no phone is needed to actually play.

Carbon-Fiber Body Built for Travel

The construction pairs a Super AirSonic carbon top with AirSonic carbon back and sides, remaining stable when temperature and humidity shift. A matte finish keeps the surface glare-free under stage lights, and the integrated truss rod lets players dial in their preferred action.

• Top Material: Super AirSonic carbon — brighter response and full weather resistance
• Back & Sides: AirSonic carbon — keeps the body rigid and lightweight
• Finish: Matte — reduces glare and resists fingerprints on stage

Carbon-Fiber Neck with Adjustable Action

The carbon-fiber neck uses Lava's Flyneck C-U profile for comfortable upper-fret access. A 43.9 mm PPS nut gives the neck a modern feel that suits fingerstyle and strumming alike. The HPL fingerboard has a 400 mm radius, and the integrated truss rod lets the action be adjusted.

• Neck Material: Carbon fibre — straight and stable across climates
• Fingerboard: High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) — durable under heavy playing
• Scale Length: 597 mm (23.5") — shorter than standard for easier travel-format chord shapes
• Nut Width: 43.9 mm — comfortable for both strummers and fingerpickers

FreeBoost Magnetic Pickup and Onboard Effects

The FreeBoost Magnetic system feeds the output jack and makes effects audible without plugging in. Five effect chains combine reverb, delay and drive, adjustable with the onboard digital knobs. A 3350 mAh / 3.7 V battery powers the system and recharges through the USB-C port at the bottom of the body.

• Pickup: FreeBoost Magnetic — for the output jack and amp-free effects
• Battery: 3350 mAh / 3.7 V — rechargeable via USB-C 5V/2A
• Effects: 5 customizable effect chains — reverb, delay and drive, editable via the LAVA+ app
• Package Content: USB-C charging cable — included for travel-friendly recharging

For Traveling Musicians, Songwriters, and Buskers

The ME air Carbon is the right choice for musicians who need an instrument that holds up to climate changes and rough handling without sacrificing tone. Singer-songwriters will appreciate the reverb and delay effects for solo performances, while buskers can plug into a PA or rely on the amp-free effects for street sets. The 36" body and 1.8 kg weight make it a strong fit for backpackers and frequent flyers. Right-handed players get a 6-string setup with a 597 mm scale that feels familiar despite the compact size.

Lava Music and the Carbon-Fiber Travel Guitar

Lava Music has built its reputation on carbon-fiber composite construction, with the ME series evolving from the original LAVA ME 2 through the ME 4 and into the simplified ME air line. This guitar reflects the brand's focus on travel-friendly instruments that resist temperature and humidity changes far better than traditional wood guitars, while adding onboard effects and app control.
