Great sound. I put it into a 30 yrs old MIJ ST-62 Fender Strat with intention to imitate a Fender American Vintage II '61 series guitar. These pickups did improve a lot on the sound. A bit "weaker" than a Tex-Mex of Fat 60s set; tuned to be bright as a vintage single coil set should be. Have to dial up the low and mid on the amp and roll off the high poti to make the guitar sound cut through the mix. But that is what I expected from this set. Recommended.
