The Rotosound RS77LD Jazz Bass 77 flatwound strings are designed for standard 34-inch scale basses, and while they can be used on a 35-inch scale bass, the tension and feel may differ slightly. The strings may feel a bit tighter and there could be a subtle change in tone, but many players still enjoy their signature smooth feel and classic sound on slightly longer scales. For best results and longest string life, they are optimized for 34-inch instruments.
