Acoustic Guitar Strings for a Warm, Soft Touch

The GHS Silk and Steel - 350 - Acoustic Guitar String Set, Silver-plated Copper, Medium, .011-.048 is engineered to bring a classical guitar’s mellow voice to your steel-string acoustic. Designed for players seeking a more expressive and gentle sound, this model is especially suited for fingerstyle and vocal accompaniment. The unique silk and steel core, combined with silver-plated copper winding, shapes a tone that’s both sweet and inviting. Those who prioritize comfort will appreciate the soft feel under the fingers, making extended practice sessions more enjoyable. The YRS-23 delivers rich, warm harmonics and a balanced projection, which many singers and acoustic instrumentalists favor.

Standout Features for Distinctive Sound

What sets this model apart is its construction: silver-plated copper winding over a silk and steel core. With this rare combination, you get a smoother playing feel and less finger fatigue, while warmth and sweetness of each note are enhanced—perfect for delicate playing styles.
